imageRecently finished the sequel  to ‘The messenger of Fear’ by Michael Grant which is called ‘The tattooed Heart’.

I was even more impressed with this book, than the first.  Michael Grant has such great story telling skills.

From start to finish I was taken on this incredible journey of human destruction to love and heartbreak.

It carries on from the first book by continuing on with Mara’s progression of becoming The messenger of Fear.

After everything that the  world has been going through, especially what happened in Paris made reading this book even more moving.

And my favourite line from the whole book was this,

“They come with excuses or come with none.  Rich and poor, male and female, every race, every religion.  Evil is an equal-opportunity affliction.”

It’s a very graphic and moving novel, that is  perfect for reading in the world that we are living in.
