Elizabeth is Missing by Emma Healey , was the last book I read in 2015 and what a wonderful book to finish the year off on.
I bought this book because of a long and boring train journey I had to take, and I needed something to keep me amused. I am glad I decided to go with this book, it was like nothing I have ever read before. Its a very unlikely crime novel but I couldnt put it down.
I needed to know what Maud would do and how she finally solves the seventy year old mystery.
Maud is also very forgetful lady and not that its mentioned must have something like dementia or altzeimers, but that’s not something the character would remember having, it was the another reason why I did buy this book.
I know someone dear to me going throgh altziemers and thoght it would help me understand slightly more about what might be goig throgh her head.
Because I could relate to some of the feelings from family members when Maud did funny things like asking the same questions over and over again, or forgetting were she was and whats she was doing, but there is so much more to this novel that makes it so fun to read.
I definetly have recommended this to everyone I know to read this.
So go read it :).
